Course Summary
World Geography 1/2C is a required year-long, college-prep course. It integrates academic skills like SQ3R, Cornell notes, and essay writing. The course emphasizes regional geography, with attention to the historical, physical, and cultural features of world regions, Students will study the geography of North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Technology standards will be taught and applied throughout the course and students will complete year-end portfolios.
